under consideration of time management of hotels, consultants, project leader and tutors and
support for creating the correspondence.

Solution:
The Seminar Organizer

The Client-Server-Application Seminar Organizer supports the server administration in planning of the events in seven steps:

Request the hotels for free appointments, places and equipment.
Book the hotels for the seminar-appointments in written form.
Planning of the appointments of the consultants.
Confirmation of the appointments with the consultants.
Create lists for the seminar administration.
Definite booking of the appointments while monitoring possible collisions.
Create attendance and resource availability information for the hotels, consultants, project leader and the seminar administration.

Technology:
Backend: Microsoft SQL Server 2000, Frontend: User application created with Visual Basic, Creation of documents with Microsoft Word over OLE-Automation. The Documents are created by templates, so that the visual appearance of them can be changed without changing the whole application.
